Letter from the Editor Hello and welcome to our final issue, It is with a heavy heart that I present to you our last and final issue (for now) of For the Love of Yarn. We are so honored that you have stuck by us for the past two years. We started back in February of 2006 with the idea that knitting and crocheting patterns could be housed in one online magazine. Since that time we’ve met some amazing designers who have shared our dream. From hats to scarves, dresses to jackets, toys to home accessories, even clothing for dogs, we’ve had patterns for it all! It’s been said, “if you build it they will come,” and come you did! We grew to over 35,000 readers per month and that was more than we could have imagined. It’s been wonderful getting to know our readers on a more personal basis through email and local gatherings. However life takes funny turns and it’s time for us to move on. We will leave this issue and our archives up through the summer (if not longer). We want to make sure everyone has a chance to knit their favorite pattern from our past issues. So thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making For the Love of Yarn a success! We couldn’t have done it without you!Until Next Time, Alison
