What You’ll Find in This Issue… We are proud to report that the response to our first issue was overwhelming. Over 32,000 unique visitors from all around the world visited our first issue in the three months it was live. That’s a LOT of yarn lovers! It makes us feel good to know that we are not alone and there are other people just as addicted to yarn crafts as we are! It also made putting together this second issue a ton of fun. In this issue we have gotten to work with some new friends and some old friends to create the summer magic you’ll find in our patterns section. You’ll find some amazing knit and crochet patterns that are beautiful, useful, and really fun! They run between things to wear and things for the home - who could ask for anything more. We have even teamed up with Tara at Blonde Chicken Boutique to bring you a complete yarn offering for one cool pattern. She created the amazing Square to Snuggle log cabin pillow cover pattern and is offering her hand-painted yarns for sale directly from her pattern page. Just click the order button to see all the beautiful colors she is offering and have them sent directly to your home. From there we suggest you check out our features section. There is not only a great article on creating fabulous knit cables (for those a bit timid to take the plunge) but there is also an article from a lady who spins dog hair into yarn. We know that after you read this you’ll be saving your pet’s hair to do the same. In this issue the staff of For the Love of Yarn got to review some amazing products we think you’ll really like. From getting you organized to keeping your skin soft, we love the products so much that we are now buying them as gifts to give to our friends and family. After we posted our first issue we received many questions on how to print our patterns and articles, since it seems they weren’t playing nice with some printers. Our webmaster and coding king went to work and we think we’ve fixed the problem. So now you can print directly from our issues (both old and new) just by clicking the print button on your browser. We are also excited to report that our great yarn directory is now available. We have added several groups and guilds and one might be in your area. If you don’t see the group or guild you belong to, feel free to send it to us and we’ll get the information in our directory at once!
